In order to use this high-quality headphones you don’t need to install any special software. They use an advanced audio engine called Razer Maelstrom, featuring HRTF algorithms that enable the 360-degree virtual surround sound, as well as built-in microphone with amplification, and a control pod through which you can adjust the sound volume, the microphone, the bass and the positional sound.

For those wanting to know more about the technology used in the new model, the Razer Maelstron is based on a military-grade platform used by pilots requiring precise positional audio warnings for missiles.
