Win $5,000 at the Madden NFL 10 Battle of the Gridiron Tournament

Madden NFL 10 video game tournaments will be hosted by GameStop in over 2,900 locations in the United States on August 22. According to the company’s press release, fans of the video game will have the chance to go through three rounds in order to win $5,000.
The Madden NFL 10 “Battle of the Gridiron” Tournament will start at 2 PM with the first round, so gamers are advised to ask the local stores to confirm the start time before the competition begins. They are required to make their presence 30 minutes before the competition starts and all have to be at least 13 years old. Participants under 18 need one of their parents to sign a registration form.

Only four of the top players in the first round will go to the next step on August 29, when the second round begins, and after that, the first two top players will have the chance to enter the Regional Finals on September 12.

The final step will start on November 1 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona, where 16 finalists of the second round will be invited to battle for the Grand Prize of $5,000.
The 16 finalists will get a round-trip flight to Phoenix, hotel accommodations and $200 in money and tickets to the Arizona Cardinals vs. Carolina Panthers game.
