Voice on the Go Application Reads Emails and Allows you to Dictate Text Messages

Since I don’t have a car I can’t imagine if it’s easy to use a Bluetooth car kit to answer phone calls while keeping an eye on the road, but these gadgets are meant to make the in-car communication experience easier and pleasant. That’s why Voice on the Go launched an interesting application for drivers that allows them to listen to the emails and compose new ones, as well as SMS text messages, without distracting them from driving safely.

The Voice on the Go application can be used to listen, reply, forward and delete email messages and send text messages using your own voice. It works with the cell phone and can also send messages via Twitter, or update profiles on social networking sites.
Using your own voice eliminates the need to type, all being done handsfree.

The application is supported by all smartphones, including models running on Android and Windows Mobile. More than that, it doesn’t need training, like computer software for voice commands.
It is available for free as a 30-day trial, or $5.99 per month after the trial period ends.

“Obviously, it is impossible to drive safely if you’re not watching where you’re going, and numerous high-profile incidents prove the dangers of texting and emailing while driving ,” said John McLeod, CEO, Voice on the Go. “In many countries it is illegal to make or receive a call while driving without handsfree capabilities, and I think everybody understands that typing or reading texts and emails while driving is significantly more dangerous.”
