Panasonic announced their newest HDD camcorder, the HCD-HS350, just in time for your vacation. You will be able to record over 30 hours of video at an amazing Full HD quality in 1920 x 1080 resolution or 100 hours in 1440 x 1080 at 6Mbps.
The recording features include a 10.6-megapixel 3MOS sensor, 12x optical zoom provided by LEICA lenses, Advanced O. I. S., and Random iA. With the optical stabilization option, this camera will help even those with the worst kind of the shakes. Even at maximum zoom, you will get a clear image.
Panasonic HDC-HS350 is a video camera that supports AVCHD. AVCHD is a format for recording and playback of high definition video, patented by Panasonic. Video is compressed in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format, and audio is recorded in Dolby Digital, offering a record quality comparable to a Blu-Ray disk.
The camcorder has a touchscreen that will come in handy when you decide to focus on something. Tapping the display, you can select an object or person to be tracked. Together with the face recognition and the automatic low-light accommodation you get the best recording in any condition.
The HCD-HS350 offers 240 GB of storage, which is massive in comparison to other video cameras. Also, it has a SDHC slot that can provide a storage capacity up to 32GB. The Panasonic HDC-HS350 will be launched in Japan on July 25th. The price is not yet known and neither is the date of release for US and Europe.
