The Android-Powered Motorola CLIQ Brings MOTOBLUR to T-Mobile Customers

Yet another Android-powered handset launched on the market, this time coming from Motorola. CLIQ is the first Motorola cell phone running on Google’s Android platform and will be available for T-Mobile’s customers in the United States.
Motorola CLIQ brings MOTOBLUR, an innovative feature that gathers multiple communication applications and delivers them right on the homescreen. Through MOTOBLUR users get access to emails, social networking sites, contact updates and others, checking the streams and widgets on the homscreen, without requiring to open each application separately.

Motorola CLIQ will bring this feature later this fall exclusively in the United States, along with 3G capability, a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard for fast texting on the go, a 3.1-inch full touchscreen display, Wi-Fi module, a built-in 5MP digital camera with autofocus and video recording capability, a 3.5-mm headset jack, multimedia player with the Amazon MP3 store application, iMeem Mobile, Shazam, and 2GB of built-in memory with the possibility to expand it up to 32GB via a microSD memory card.

The new handset supports multi-tasking and direct access to free Google mobile services such as the innovative Google Search by voice, Google Maps with Street View, Picasa and YouTube.
It is a reliable solution for business users as it provides access to corporate email, contacts and calendar via the Exchange Server and Gmail, while all users can initiate instant messaging conversations on Google Talk, Yahoo! Messenger, Windows Live Messenger and AOL, which are the most popular applications of this kind.

Motorola CLIQ will be available in Winter White or Titanium.
