Samsung Releases two new HD Monitors With Built-in TV Tuner

Samsung’s new 933HD+ and 2333HD LCD monitors are two affordable solutions for combining increased work productivity with High Definition entertainment.
Coming in sleek designs with glossy black finish and acrylic bar, they feature 1360 x 768 resolution at a 19-inch diagonal and 1920 x 1080 at 23-inch diagonal, respectively, while enabling a high dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1, 5ms response time, and 16:9 aspect ratio.

In addition, they feature integrated TV tuner for either satellite or cable connection for when you’re in the mood to take a break from your work and watch your favorite TV show using the included remote control.
Via the two HDMI connections you have the possibility to connect a Blu-ray player or gaming system, while the stereo sound system produces high-quality sound based on the Dolby Digital technology featured by the 2333HD model.
You can control the display features via MagicColor, MagicBright, Image Size and Color Effect functions from the monitor’s menu.

Samsung released the 933HD+ and the 2333HD at estimated street prices of $249.99 and $329.99, respectively.

“With more users viewing HD broadcast, watching Blu-ray movies and playing video games on their monitors, the 933HD+ and 2333HD are space savers for those looking for a multi-purpose monitor to place in a tight space, like a studio apartment or dorm room,” said Young Bae, director, Information Technology Division, Samsung Electronics America.
