Samsung Corby, also known as Samsung S3650, is a full touchscreen cell phone destined to young customers who like to spend hours on social networking sites while on the go. It will be available in the European stores later this month coming at a starting price of only EUR 150, while pre-loading various applications meant to enhance users’ communication experience, plus providing them direct access to the most popular social sites like Twitter, Facebook and MySpace.
Corby comes in several rich colors such as Cupid Pink, Jamaican Yellow, Festival Orange and Minimal White, just to cover all tastes, and packs high-end multimedia capabilities accessible via the 2.8-inch large display with 256K colors and a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.
Specifications include 3G UMTS 2100, accelerometer sensor, MP3 player, speakerphone, 1,000 contact entries in the phone book, call records, support for up to 16 GB of external memory via a microSD card, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, built-in 2 MP camera with video recording capability, email, Instant Messaging, HTML, stereo FM radio with RDS, and voice memo.
