Samsung T939 Behold II follows the success of the original handset, Samsung T919 Behold, which was launched last year featuring a 3-inch full TFT resistive touchscreen display of 256K colors, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, support for up to 8 GB of external memory, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, built-in 5 MP camera with autofocus and LED flash, HTML support, email, document viewer, 3G HSDPA high-speed connectivity, and up to five hours of continuous talk time.

The new version has rounded margins and brings a AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display of 16 million colors, 3.2-inch display diagonal, accelerometer sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack for external speakers and earphones, double external memory support via a microSD card, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, the built-in 5 MP camera, geo-tagging capability, A-GPS, and the Google application suite including Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube and Google Talk.

Samsung Behold II with Android will be available exclusively for T-Mobile customers in the United States with the next-generation TouchWiz user interface that allows users to customize widgets with their favorite applications right on the home screen.

“T-Mobile continues to expand our line-up of Android-powered phones in time for the holiday season with the addition of the Samsung Behold II,” said Travis Warren, director, product marketing, T-Mobile USA. “The premium screen and quality camera coupled with Samsung’s innovative cube menu makes the Behold II a multimedia powerhouse that’s made even stronger by T-Mobile’s high-speed 3G network.”
