Coming from Primera Technology, a software developer focused on providing CD, DVD and Blu-ray disc publishing solutions, the PTPublisher is now available for Mac computer users.
PTPublisher for Mac is described in the latest Primera press release as an easy-to-use software created to work with Mac OS 10.5 Leopard and Mac 10.6 Leopard. It allows users to print on discs and is based on the Roxio burning engine.
Mac users that need to print on their discs can use the software with any publisher in the Primera Bravo Series.
PTPublisher features an intuitive user interface with functions specific to data, audio, video and copy, as well as a wizard-like navigation, the DiscCover Label Design application, real-time on-screen monitoring of robot status and media levels, plus an automatic updater that uses the Internet connection.
In addition, it copies Blu-ray and provides different project options for copying and creating CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray designs.
The new software is available as a free download from the Primera web site.
