Parrot, one of the first developers of digital picture frame, has just announced a new product meant to enable high-quality sound in your car, having the iPhone as the audio source.
Parrot RKi8400 integrates into your car’s audio system and works similar with a speakerphone, allowing you to communicate with others and listen to the music while driving, keeping an eye on the road.
The device has a 200 W MOFSET amplifier, a built-in equalizer with cool sound effects for every music genre, Bluetooth A2DP to enable stereo sounds, as well as support for connectivity with various music sources such as the iPhone, iPod, USB flash drives, SD memory cards, Bluetooth-enabled gadgets and others.
On the color touchscreen you can browse through songs in the playlist or album covers.
More than that, Parrot RKi8400 will detect your SIM card as you first connect it to the cell phone and will automatically start copying all of your contacts in the phone book. Whenever you’ll need to make a phone call you just have to press on the dedicated green button to enable voice recognition and say the name of the contact you need to call.
You can see your phone book entries, music details, menus and others on the same 2.4-inch display of high definition.
Behind the removable front panel of the device you can find a storage compartment in which to place your cell phone, music player or flash drives.
The device sells for $399.99.
