OCZ Launches 80Plus Gold-Certified Z-Series Power Supplies

OCZ Technology launched a new series of power supplies featuring 80Plus Gold Certifications, called Z-Series. It brings four new options fitting high-performance computer systems, including gaming systems and workstations, while enabling high efficiency via the 800W and 1000W configurations. The models bring with a 5-year warranty and are available for purchase at Newegg.com for prices ranging between $219.99 and $299.99.

The 1KW Z1000 and 850W Z850 power supplies provide more than 90% efficiency and come in both modular and hard-wired configurations.
Z1000 is an Nvidia SLI-ready model featuring +12VDC @ 83A Single Rail Design and connector options like for 24-pin Main, 8-pin EPS12V, 4/8-pin CPU, 6/8-pin PCI-Express, SATA, peripheral, and floppy.
In addition to these elements, the OCZ Z100M 1000W Modular 80+ Gold PSU features 6/8-pin PCI-Express Modular connector.
