Recently, Novell made available the SUSE Enterprise 10 Service Pack 3, which delivers several fixes, updates and patches, along with hardware support released for the SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 system.
The third Service Pack features SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 3 with support for the latest hardware elements for storage, server and networking, plus some improved features for virtual services, system administration and management, and high-speed fabrics.
Another component of the Service Pack 3 is the SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 Service Pack 3, which brings updated drivers to enable support for hardware and peripherals. In addition it comes with the latest Firefox browser updates and the Novell GroupWise collaboration application.
A Software Development Kit is also featured by SUSE Enterprise 10 Service Pack 3. It packs tool updates that provide new ways of creating high-performance software.
Novell also announced that it released the service pack to offer the same suitable platform for mission-critical computing applications via physical, virtual and could environments.
SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 is available for purchase as a subscription-based service for $50 for one year, while the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server edition is available as a per-server subscription starting at $349.
