Nokia Introduces It’s Most Rugged Cell Phone

It’s not Sonim XP3, but it’s the most rugged Nokia cell phone to date and was announced yesterday in the latest company’s press release.
Called Nokia 3720 classic, the new mobile phone is IP-54 certified. It withstands shocks and resists in dust and water, while keeping the electronic parts safe inside a durable sealed chassis.
Nokia recommends using this mobile handset while on the beach, in dusty areas or in other similar environments, without worrying about damaging the internal components, or breaking the display. Even the battery cover features a smart design and in order to change the SIM card you have to take out a screw.

Nokia 3720 classic provides long operating times of up to seven hours, LED flashlight, the Nokia Maps application, 1GB microSD memory card, and a large 2.2-inch display with high brightness.
It is a 2.5G phone measuring 115 x 47 x 15.3 mm at 94 grams and comes with a built-in 2MP camera, stereo FM radio, voice commands, microUSB connector, support for up to 8GB of external memory, flight mode, Bluetooth 2.1, handsfree, conference calling, Windows Live Messenger, audio messaging, email, HTML, support for external GPS receiver and many other features.

You can expect to see it in stores later this summer in grey or yellow. The handset will be available for an affordable price, retailing for EUR 125 before taxes.
