New Smart USB Monitors from DoubleSight Enable a Secondary Display Solution

DoubleSight Displays announced the release of a new series of LCD monitors designed to provide a secondary screen for your laptop or desktop computer. Each of these Smart USB Monitors comes in a compact size, two having a diagonal of 9 inches, while the third model features a 7-inch screen. All come with support for the multi-monitor mode, are lightweight, can be adjusted to the portrait or landscape viewing mode, power via your computer’s USB port, are supported by both PC and Mac computer systems, and work with various software applications.

At the click of a mouse the user can switch between the portrait and landscape modes enabled by the DisplayLink Technology, and the displays also come with an adjustable desktop stand, the USB cable, and a protective travel cover.
You can keep your work on the main computer display and use the Smart USB Monitor as a secondary external display for entertainment applications such as Instant Messaging, view photo albums, reading the RSS news, email management and social networking updates.

DS-70U Smart USB LCD Monitor is the 7-inch version featuring 16.7M display colors, 30 ms response time, 375 cd/m brightness, 350:1 contrast ratio, 3.3 ~ 4.9W power consumption, and 800 x 480 recommended resolution. It has a starting price of $119.
DS-90U Smart USB LCD Monitor comes with an 8.9-inch display of 262K colors, 200 cd/m brightness, 300:1 contrast ratio and a resolution of 1024 x 600. It has a street price set for $139, while the DS-90UC Smart USB LCD Monitor with Web Cam comes with a web camera integrated on top and a starting price of $159.
