Samsung unveiled the leading model of its LED HDTV 8500 Series. These new HDTVs are a perfect combination between picture quality, thinness and the newest networking and interactive features.
“For consumers who are looking for the ultimate HD centerpiece and high-level performance in their home theater, the Samsung 8500 Series delivers break-through quality and design,” said John Revie, senior vice president of Visual Display Marketing, Samsung Electronics America. “The 8500 Series underscores Samsung’s dedication to providing a full range of HDTVs that not only achieve the highest levels of picture quality, but also provide unique and immersive entertainment experiences through our Medi@2.0ä suite.”
The Samsung 8500 LED HDTVs have a fabulous dynamic contrast of 7,000,000:1 that offers a high level of detail and image depth. The Wide Color Enhancer Pro feature enhances the energy of the colors, while the Ultra Clear Panel takes care of the image clarity in any kind of lighting. This series has a 2ms response time with a true 240Hz refresh rate.
The 8500 Series features Samsung’s Medi@2.0ä suite that allows users to access information from a lot more sources. The Internet@TV – Content Service offers onscreen access to web-based content from Yahoo!, USA Today, Twitter, YouTube, and others.
The Samsung 8500 LED HDTV Series will be available starting September with the price of $3,599.99 for the 46-inch class and $4,499.99 for the 55-inch class.
