When required to create web sites that provide new and original content, web developers usually have to sacrifice beauty and focus on SEO-friendly designs, leaving Flash to presentation sites. Well, according to FHTM, a company focused on programming languages that enable rich Internet content, web developers have now access to a new “tool” that allows them to create web sites rich in design elements, but based on a markup language similar with HTML that everyone knows to code in.
It’s called FluidHTML and was launched at the TechCrunch50 Conference to solve the problem created by Flash-based Internet applications. The text-based markup language was chosen from 1,000 entries coming from 40 countries and became one of the 50 finalists at the conference.
FluidHtml is said to be easy to learn by any web developer, in order to create eye-catching interactive web sites and web-based applications, and can generate Flash dynamically, while being supported by 95% of the computer configurations and web browsers. It doesn’t require additional plugin installation and is server-side independent. In addition, it’s search engine indexable and has native 3D support.
“We are honored to be recognized by TechCrunch, the most prestigious and sought after source of technology industry news and information,” said FHTML’s CEO, Michael Collette. “We are excited about being given the opportunity to present among other innovative startups and influential professionals, and we are proud to be part of this community of Internet entrepreneurs. This recognition further validates FluidHtml’s key position in the rich internet application marketplace.”
