MSI X-Slim X610 Powered by the AMD Athlon Neo Technology

MSI has just announced another ultra-thin notebook computer in its famous X-Slim series. The new X-Slim X610 is a 15.6-inch laptop powered by the AMD Second Generation Ultrathin Platform known as PowerNow!, while equipped with an AMD Athlon Neo processor, MSI’s power-saving technology called MSI ECO.
The computer comes with ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 3D discrete graphics with 512 MB memory, the Amazing Crystal Vision display technology, support for up to 4 GB DDR2 memory, built-in 1.3 MP web camera, optional Bluetooth, WLAN draft N, a 2-in-1 card reader dor SD and MMC memory cards, three USB 2.0 ports, up to 640 GB hard disk space, optional Blu-ray, support for external optical drive, and optional 6-cell or 9-cell battery.

MSI X-Slim X610 runs with the Windows Vista Home Premium operating system and measures 39.2 x 25.5 x 2.5 cm at 2.1Kg with the 6-cell battery.
Its design is characterized by the feather pattern and an overall minimalistic look. Power-saving elements include the 15-Watt processor that consumes only 40% of the power requires by other similar models, and the MSI ECO package with manual switching between different performance modes like gaming, presentation, word processing and movie mode.

The thin laptop computer provides twice the continuous operating time enabled by standard systems in the same category.
