MSI X-Slim X600 – One of the Thinnest Laptops on the Market

Packed in a 2.5-cm thick system with discrete graphics powered by ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4330 card of 512MB memory, the new MSI X-Slim X600 notebook computer is an ultra-slim yet powerful model providing high performance and high mobility to both normal users and business professionals.
The laptop running on Windows Vista Home Premium operating system is powered by the Ultra Low Voltage Intel processing technology and features a 15.6-inch TFT-LCD widescreen display, 4GB of system memory, 2.5-inch 500GB SATA hard drive, four built-in speakers, built-in 1.3MP web camera, optional Bluetooth, Wi-Fi with Draft N support, HDMI port, card reader, and a 6-cell or 9-cell battery.

It is a lightweight system weighing just 2.1Kg including the 6-cell battery and sports a nice design inspired by the shape of round feathers.
High-end options like adding a Blu-Ray optical drive with support for up to 50GB of disc storage allows you to watch video content in high definition at 1080p resolution, while the Dolby Surround Sound technology enables cinema-like audio quality.
If you need to watch movies with friends or your family members on a larger display, you have the possibility to connect the laptop to a HD TV via the HDMI interface.

Another high-end option is the WiMAX technology which you could enable for connecting to the Internet wirelessly at higher speeds.

Thanks to the Lithium-Polymer battery type used by the X-Slim X600 model, and the 9-cell option, the operating time extends much over thr 4.5 hours provided by the default 6-cell battery.
The MSI ECO Engine technology, which takes care of the power management, allows you to switch between Text, Gaming, Cinema, Briefing and Turbo Battery modes in which the system automatically adjusts the screen brightness, screen power, auto hibernation and CPU settings, for maintaining the right level of performance while extending battery life.

Everything sounds cool, but MSI didn’t publish any information on price or availability yet.
