Msi’s N250GTS graphics card graphic cards series that enables a good price/performance ratio for computers running games welcomes two new models called N250GTS Twin Frozr 1G and N250GTS Twin Frozr, both using the Twin Frozr thermal design along with dual PWM fans and three heat pipes for temperature cooling, while improving stability.
MSI Twin Frozr series of graphic cards features 128 stream processors, 256-bit GDDR3 memory, as well as military class elements for better lifespan and increased stability.
The Twin Frozr thermal design based on dual PWM fans adjusts the fans speed according to the graphic processing unit loading and temperature, enabling quieter operation during standard applications, and lowering the noise while running 3D software and games. In case one fan fails the other one will continue dissipating the heat.
The three heat pipes equipping the system are meant to increase the heat dissipation speed, eliminating this way overheating.
Next there is the Hi-c CAP for power supply made from Tantalum, which is an expensive metal of high stability that keeps running for 200 years at 65 degrees Celsius.
The Solid State Choke removes high-frequency noises and improves total power output by 30%, increasing overclocking stability.
As MSI says, the capacitors are the most important element of power supply systems for electronic products, and they can be found in two types – electrolytic capacitors and solid capacitors. MSI used solid capacitors for its Twin Frozr graphic cards series because of their longer lifespan and their ability to provide stable power in high temperatures. In addition, they don’t use liquid materials so there won’t be any leak problem that could affect the stability of the product.
