Coming in a slim and lightweight form factor, the new MSI Wind12 U210 mini notebook computer fits even some of the smallest bags, while enabling high performance for computer users who need to stay up to date with the latest news on the Internet, chat with friends and colleagues, or JUST have a notebook to continue their work on at any time.
It features a 12.1-inch widescreen display with LED backlight technology and a resolution of 1366 x 768, a low-power processor and the company’s ECO Engine that extends battery life. With the battery the mini laptop weighs only 1.3Kg, but it comes equipped with several software bundles and useful capabilities that make it a great value product.
Even if it’s small, which might give the impression that it’s hard to type on the small keys for hours, the keyboard was designed with ergonomics in mind, based on the Ergonomic De-stress technology from MSI, with 51% larger key surfaces, to minimize stress to wrists and fingers.
MSI Wind12 U210 powers from a 6-cell battery and uses the Turbo Battery mode to reach four hours of operating time.
Besides these, the computer has a built-in 1.3MP web camera, which is great for Internet chat, also providing the Easy Face software for face recognition.In addition, there is the Webcam Companion,Visual Effect 2 and the Print Creation tools for editing and sharing photos captured with the camera.
Specifications of the new laptop include an AMD Yukon MV40/L335 processor, the AMD RS690 + SB600 chipset, Windows XP or Vista pre-installed, ATi Mobility Radeon X1250 graphics, 2GB of system memory, built-in speakers, wireless LAN, optional Bluetooth, 320GB SATA hard drive, and HDMI port.
As usual, MSI didn’t say anything about the new laptop’s price yet.
