Magellan announced today their new GPS unit: Maestro 4700. Maestro 4700 features a 4.7” color touch screen and performs advanced navigation tasks with built-in voice command capabilities and hands-free Bluetooth calling.
Using Maestro 4700 you can make or receive calls using a compatible cell phone. Access your phone’s address book directly from Maestro 4700 and the noise-cancelling microphone makes you hear the person you are talking to with very good quality of sound.
A cool feature is “Find your car” with Pedestrian Mode. The GPS unit remembers the location of your car and guides you to it. This feature is very useful if you leave your car in the airport parking lot, stadium, and malls. No more running aimlessly through the parking lot trying to remember the lot number.
Maestro 4700 analyzes past traffic patterns and suggests less congested routes. Using 3D Landmarks you can find the destination easier. Also, the exclusive OneTouch Favorites Menu helps you to access favorite destinations and searches with personalized bookmarks. Making your life easier, the Magellan Maestro 4700 now offers an additional twelve bookmarks to save favorites.
If you want to plan a trip, use QuickSpell with Smart City Search feature. This allows quick, single-address entry or convenient multi-destination trip planning, including route optimization.
The price for Magellan Maestro 4700 will be $299.99. It ships with a windshield mount and cradle; 12-volt vehicle power adapter; USB cable, protective pouch, adhesive disk for alternative, on-dash mounting; and quick reference guide.
