LG Neon is a new cell phone introduced by AT&T in the United States. Customers looking for a stylish handset designed for intensive texting and a new 2-year agreement can get the handset for only $29.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.
LG equipped it with a side-sliding full QWERTY keyboard, which makes it easy to type emails or text messages, and to chat with friends and colleagues via any chat application. More than that, the handset supports multiple conversations at the same time, multimedia messaging, the AT&T Mobile Email application and access to the popular online social networking communities.
Even if it’s not a high-end cell phone with touch-sensitive display, LG Neon provides a useful touch screen for easy dialing, a built-in 2MP digital camera with video recording and 4x zoom, HTML support, music player, support for up to 4GB of external memory via a microSD card in addition to the built-in 14MB of internal storage capacity, Bluetooth transfers to and from compatible devices, stereo Bluetooth, and handsfree.
Other features include the 2.4-inch display of 262K colors, up to 3 hours of continuous talk time, 244 hours of standby, FM radio, voice memo, but no 3G speeds.
It comes in 2 color combinations – white/light green and black/grey – with plenty of tools and applications you can play with, including the support for downloadable themes and programs meant to increase productivity while on the go.
