At the beginning of last month LG revealed some teaser photos of a new LG Chocolate handset following the other successful models in the Black Label series.
Back then we only knew it will come in a thin form factor, in glossy black with red highlights, featuring full touchscreen interface.
Now we have the full specifications list and more explicit photos of the LG Chocolate BL40, revealing a different design when compared to the previous models in the same series. I’d say it’s the coolest LG Chocolate model.
According to the latest press release from LG Electronics, the new LG-BL40 has a 4-inch large widescreen high definition LCD display of 800 x 345 pixels for high-quality imaging, which features a 21:9 aspect ratio, enabling a mobile PC-like experience.
On a larger screen users can browse full web pages and have increased viewability for composing email, text messages and play with the pre-installed applications.
Using the Dual Screen User Interface, the handset displays two types of content at the same time.
Design elements include a screen overlaid with tempered glass, encased in a glossy black finish with red lines.
LG said it will make the handset available in 54 countries worldwide starting quarter 3, so we’ll have to wait a little more to find out the price.
