Kodak Announces Three New Charging Solutions for Your Portable Gadgets

In addition to several new stylish products destined for taking pictures and recording videos while on the go, Kodak introduced a range of charging devices for your portable gadgets including cell phones, media players and digital still cameras.

KODAK Solar Charger KS100-C+2 charges in the sunlight and provides 33 hours of extra operating time for your music player, or 200 more photos to your digital camera. During the afternoon, when the sun is not so bright you can rely on the USB cable that allows you to charge the gadgets while connected to a laptop computer, or other USB-based power source.

The ENERGY STAR-qualified device enables full charging in 28 hours in sunlight and 14 hours via USB, while featuring a charging indicator for both solar and device charging options. It will retail for $39.95 in September.

KODAK Portable Charger KP100-C+2 is the second charger released by Kodak, which uses USB connectivity to power your gadgets, enabling 40 extra hours of operating time for your cell phone, or 400 photos for your digital camera.
You can use it to charge your music player, as well as other USB-based devices.
It features two AA Ni-MH batteries, 8-hour full charging time, and an auto-off Energy Saving Timer.

This model will retail for $29.95 starting September, while the third option will be an even cheaper charger called KODAK Digital Camera Travel Charger K640/K640E.
It will come out for a retail price of $14.95 and is a cordless model using rechargeable NiMH batteries, capable of offering up to 200 photos from a full charge, which lasts about six hours.
