Jedi Mind Announces Beta Stage of its First Mind-Controlled Game

Jedi Mind is a developer of mind-controlled video games that has announced the beta testing phase of its new prototype game. The developer uses advanced technologies such as a wireless headset that detects the user’s brainwaves at the conscious and non-conscious levels to allow the interaction with the game’s action.
The first prototype game is described as being simple and easy controllable with the power of the mind. It can be played by two people that can challenge each other.

This is not the first time when you’re hearing about mind-controlled games developed by Jedi Mind, as its partner is Emotiv, the company that develops the hardware elements required for the game to work. Emotiv provides the well known Epoch Headset with built-in sensors in charge with detecting the player’s electric signals in the brain to identify thoughts, face expressions and feelings. The headset connects to the computer wirelessly.

“Our first prototype game development was accomplished in a relatively short time frame, though there is still more time needed to finalize and test the game. Subsequent games to be developed will be much more extensive and require more development time than our first game, in order to compete with the high-level games currently available for X-Box 360, Playstation and Wii,” said Brent Fouch, CEO of Jedi Mind.
