For mobile phone users and members of social news sites, INQ is introducing two new affordable and eye-catching handsets featuring 3G connectivity for high-speed Internet transfers, which is an important aspect for people spending much time online while on the go.
While INQ Chat 3G is the company’s first cell phone with QWERTY keyboard supporting intensive texting, the INQ Mini 3G is a colorful entry-level handset for anyone who wants to be up to date with the latest technology trends.
Both 3G Social Mobiles feature Twitter, push Gmail and media synchronization with personal computers and Macs.
INQ has been working with Twitter to develop a new Twitter application for its two mobile phones, which require you to login only one time to have Twitter on every time you turn on the handset. You can use this application for sending tweets over the Internet, while INQ Chat Twitter widget brings the updates on the home screen.
INQ Chat 3G’s features include an INQ-developed email client with push Gmail, plus Facebook, Skype and instant messaging. It also features active address book showing contacts status, a 2.4-inch TFT landscape display, built-in 3.2MP camera with autofocus, GPS, support for up to 8GB of external memory, Brew 4.0 and Java MIDP 2.0.
On the other hand, the new INQ Mini 3G adds support for web-based email services including Yahoo! Mail, Gmail and Hotmail. It comes with active address book, a 2.2-inch TFT display with landscape mode, a 2MP camera, up to 8GB memory support, Brew 4.0 and Java MIDP 2.0,
Both handsets come in different color options and support over-the-air updates, as well as HSDPA modem functionality while connected to the computer. They will be available in stores starting Q4. The prices are not known yet.
