Google Added Links to Forum Posts in Search Results

Johanna Wright, Director of Product Management at Google, published an announcement on the Google Blog, related to a new search feature introduced yesterday to help Internet users find more exact details when looking for different information.
Now, when you search for specific information on things, you find forum posts and discussions related to your query. Titles with links appear under the snippets coming from discussion boards.
For example, if you are looking for directions on how to get to Florence from Rome in Italy and type the query “getting from rome to florence” one of the results on the first page will display a few discussions between people who looked for the same thing. Next to each link are the posting dates and each link sends you to forum posts where you can find out more on different ways of getting from Rome to Florence.

The announcement on the Google Blog mentions that this new useful feature applies to web sites that have many posts focused on that specific topic.
The feature is meant to help users find what they are looking for in shorter time and, if the discussion boards don’t provide enough information, they still have the main search results to browse through.
