An NCAA Football 10 T-shirt and Xbox 360 faceplate doesn’t seems a big prize for winning a video game contest, but I bet it would be real fun competing with other football fans.
The one that will host such a big event is one of the world’s leading video game and entertainment software retailer, GameStop, while the video game will be NCAA Football 10, developed by Tiburon and published by Electronic Arts.
NCAA Football 10 will be released in a few days, more exactly on July 14, but the midnight launch events will take place on July 13, a day before the official release.
GameStop invites all football fans in the United States to one of the 1,300 locations available for this event, to participate in different activities such as the Ulimate Football Fan contests,Tailgate Party Challenges, End Zone Dance contests and in-store tournaments.
The big video game competition will start at 10 p.m. and will take place via Xbox 360 consoles. Gamers will be paired randomly until there will be only two players left in the final. The winner will receive an NCAA Football 10 T-shirt and Xbox 360 faceplate.
Your previous gaming experience is not important for participating in this competition, but would really help you in winning.
Official rules specify that you have to live in the United States or the District of Columbia, and to sign in for the tournament on the Official Tournament Sign Up Sheet that you can find in one of the stores sponsoring the event. Only 32 contestants per location can participate.
