GameStop Casual Digital Store Opens

The new Casual Digital Store launched by GameStop is meant to offer money-saving options to people browsing through gaming releases on the world’s largest game and entertainment software provider.
Powered by RealNetworks, the GameStop Casual Digital Store promotes the latest discount offers, free trials available for download, as well as streamlined search and checkout feature.

Through the Casual Lounge section on the web site gamers can connect to experts at GameStop and find answers that could help them make the best decisions before purchasing new game releases.
In addition to the possibility of downloading popular PC games, you now have the option of pre-ordering select titles and be among the first to get them. Such titles include Dragon Age from Electronic Arts, Section 8 from SouthPeak Interactive and Red Faction Guerrilla from THQ.
As a limited special offer, GameStop announced a big discount of 50% for several casual games.

The announcement was made by Tony Bartel, executive vice president of merchandising and marketing at GameStop, who also added:
“As the leading video game and entertainment software retailer, we continuously look for ways to bring our passion for gaming to the customer visiting us online. The new Casual Digital Store accomplishes this goal by appealing to an ever-expanding customer demographic looking for value in addition to trusted guidance to ensure they receive the best gaming experience possible.”
