Find New Home With Google Maps Autralia Real Estate Feature

Earlier today, the The Official Australia Google Blog announced the launch of a new useful feature integrated with the company’s service Google Maps.
In addition to driving directions, finding nearest points of interest, view satellite data and travel planning, Australians using this free online service have now access to real estate listings.

Using this new feature, you can check houses available for rent or sale, and visualize these on the most familiar maps, via Google Maps.
The announcement comes from Andrew Foster, Product Manager, who specified that listings always are up to date and you can check them by entering your query terms in the classic search box. The best expression you could enter would be your preferred area name plus the “real estate” terms.

After pressing on the search button you will be able to see all the listing on the map on the right side of the page.
If you want to narrow your search for houses available for sale or rent closest to a specific place, such as a high school, or a public place like a supermarket.

Also, if you click on the marker or circle indicating a listing you’ll see more details about that property, such as the agent’s website and contact details.
Other search options allow you to specify the number of bedrooms the house should have, garaging and prices. You also can change the name of the area, but leave the house details the same, and maps with update automatically.

After you find a house that matches your criteria you can continue using other tools provided with Google Maps and find out more about the neighborhood, how to get to that house and transit information.
Possibilities seem almost endless…
