Available from today exclusive in all Apple stores and online, Eye-Fi Geo card is the new wireless SD memory card from Eye-Fi Inc. Eye-Fi Geo card is build to integrate with Mac products and applications, especially with IPhoto `09, IPhone and MobileMe.
Eye-Fi wireless SD memory card allows users to upload photos from a digital camera to a computer or IPhoto gallery. It also offers geotagging service meaning that the photos will be automatically geotagged with location information about where the image was captured.
Jef Holove, CEO of Eye-Fi presented the product: “Apple users want simplicity and an effortless user experience, so it’s not surprising that a significant number of our users are on Macs. The Eye-Fi Geo is the perfect companion for iPhoto’s new ‘Places’ application to pinpoint photos on a digital map so memories are displayed in a richer, more meaningful way.”
With the Eye-Fi application for the iPhone you can upload wireless photos from the iPhone to the Web and into iPhoto or to organize folders on a computer.
In IPhoto `09 you can search and sort photos using geotags from the Eye-Fi Geo card. For a $9.99 annual fee you can share images online at MobileMe or one of more than 20 other photo sharing and social networking sites.
The 2GB Eye-Fi Geo card is available exclusively at Apple stores and Apple.com for $59.99.
