The Acer’s brand, eMachines, announced new additions to its desktop computer systems, characterized by an eye-catching white finish and decorative LED lights. The systems are available for low prices and consist of desktop computer unit, widescreen display with integrated speakers, a matching keyboard and mouse.
eMachines ET1300-02 is powered by an AMD Athlon X2 4850e Dual-Core Processor clocked at 2.5GHz, runs on Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1, and features an NVIDIA GeForce G100 graphics card with 512MB memory, 3GB DDR2 system memory, 160GB SATA HDD of 7200 rpm, 18x DVD burner with Labelflash technology, card reader, six USB 2.0 ports, and connectivity options like VGA, HDMI and DVI. The included monitor is an 18.5-inch widescreen LCD with built-in speakers.
The system is priced at $449.99.
A lower-priced model is the eMachines ET1810-03 coming with an Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor E2210 of 2.2GHz, Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1, integrated NVIDIA GeForce 7050 graphics card, 3GB DDR2 memory, 320GB storage space, the 18x DVD burner with Labelflash, six USB ports and one VGA port.
This system comes without monitor and has a starting price of $369.99.
eMachines ET1810-01 is even cheaper, having the MSRP set at $299.99. The price includes a 1.6GHz Intel Celeron Processor 420, Windows Vista Home Basic with Service Pack 1, integrated NVIDIA graphics, 2GB DDR2 memory, 160GB hard disk space, the 18x DVD burner with Labelflash, card reader, six USB 2.0 ports and one VGA port.
The monitor only starts at $129.99 and is named the eMachines E182H. It delivers an 18.5-inch widescreen TFT Active Matrix display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 and the CrystalBrite technology, 5ms response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 170/160 viewing angles, 16.7M color depth, and built-in stereo speakers, adding one VGA port, one PC audio.
