Consumer Cellular introduced two new cell phones designed for seniors. Like other similar phones available on the market, the two created by Doro are equipped with basic functionalities for every-day use, while sporting large raised keys with large characters and a simple user interface with clear text.
Doro PhoneEasy 345 and Doro PhoneEasy 410 will be available exclusively at Consumer Cellular, delivering Bluetooth wireless short-range connectivity for file transfer to and from compatible devices, advanced hearing aids, built-in alarm clock function, FM radio, calculator, games and flashlight.
Doro PhoneEasy 345 is a bar-style handset coming in black, while the PhoneEasy 410 comes in black and white in a clamshell design.
Both feature two-way speakerphone, 300 entries in the phonebook, SMS text messaging, emergency text alerts, and the possibility to hide functions that the user doesn’t need at a specific moment.
They are affordable, allowing you to purchase the PhoneEasy 345 for $75 and the PhoneEasy 410 for $85.
“We recently surveyed our customers and found that 62 percent would prefer a cell phone with easier-to-read, enlarged buttons and display text,” said John Marick, Consumer Cellular co-founder and CEO. “This is why we partnered with Doro, an international leader in innovative and user-friendly consumer electronics, to offer phones that specifically meet the needs of many of our customers.”
