Canon Easy Photo-Print for the iPhone and iPod Enables Wireless Printing

If you own an iPhone and a Canon PIXMA printer you can get the newly released application from Canon that allows you to print your photos wirelessly.
The software is called Canon Easy Photo-Print App and is available at the Apple App Store. It is compatible with iPod as well.
Also known as the iEPP, the application provides different settings for the paper type and size.
You can select a paper size up to 8 ½ x 11 and six types of paper to print up to 20 copies.
Compatible Canon printers include PIXMA MP990, MP640 and the MP560 Wireless Photo All-in-One model.

The application is free to download and use right on the mobile handset. It prints not only the photos taken with the built-in camera, but also images from the Internet, and you can add mullets to enable a retro look, mix several images in montages, add cool effects, crop, sharpen, or add text bubbles.

“Canon continues to make the printing experience as seamless and easy as possible with the addition of new technologies such as the Canon Easy-Photo Print Application,” said Yuichi Ishizuka, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Consumer Imaging Group, Canon U.S.A. “This new technology enables users to print multiple images at one time while selecting varying sizes and paper types, making it easier than ever for consumers to print the images they want from their revolutionary iPhone or iPod touch.”
