The latest laptop introduced by BenQ and called Joybook Lite U102 features a small and lightweight construction for increased portability. It was designed for mobile entertainment and equipped with a 10.1-inch UltraVivid LED backlit display enabling a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, while powered by the low-power-consuming Intel Atom processing technology.
It comes with plenty of HDD capacity for your media files, of up to 250GB, built-in high-resolution web camera, built-in speakers, integrated microphone with noise suppression and echo cancellation, Wi-Fi module for wireless Internet browsing, three USB slots, and a 4-in-1 card reader.
The netbook can be used on the go for browsing the web, watching videos, document processing, Instant Messaging applications and listening to the music.
It’s ultra-portable characteristics enable a weight of just 1Kg, while measuring 1 inch in thickness. Even so, the mini laptop features a 90% of a full-sized keyboard and the QWERTY style for increased ergonomics.
In addition, BenQ Joybook Lite U102 can be paired with an optional 3.75G HSUPA module for highest wireless speeds, while a dedicated key allows you to switch between different types of wireless networks when needed.
By default it comes with a 3-cell battery that enables about three hours of continuous operating time, but you have the option to choose the 6-cell version for up to six hours of battery life. The alternative would be to keep the netbook plugged in using the included small AC adapter.
BenQ Joybook Lite U102 will be available for purchase with an eye-catching polished obsidian finish in Taiwan, China and Thailand.
The price was not unveiled yet.
