iPod touch can now be used as a portable media player with access to music, videos, applications and fun games, as well as a mini computer for reading emails, find your way on a map and browse the web. More than that, it is a great game player with support for the richest games designed for it.
Gaming on the iPod touch should be much more fun based on the built-in accelerometer for balance games, the multi-touch 3.5-inch display that allows you to transform the handset into a music instrument, Wi-Fi and the Bluetooth.
The handset available in 32 GB and 64 GB capacities comes with improved performance, as well as support for the OpenGL ES Version 2.0, which allows developers build superior games with rich graphics. Games are now much faster, delivering more detail.
Using the Wi-Fi connectivity, users can get the applications they need in the shortest time, helped also by the Genius feature that makes recommendations based on the games you already downloaded.
These and much more are provided by the latest iPod touch edition from Apple for a starting price of $199.
Another great news from the company is that the iPod shuffle price dropped at $59.
