Apple Enhances its Mac mini Providing it for $599

New iMacs powered by the latest Intel quad-core processing technology, the faster Mac mini, the world’s first wireless mouse with Multi-Touch technology and the new MacBook edition are the latest products announced by Apple.
Now we’ll take a look at the enhanced version of Mac mini, which Apple likes to call “the world’s most energy efficient desktop” computer. It has a starting price of $599, but features double memory when compared to the previous version, larger storage capacity and faster processing speeds to increase computing performance significantly.

It was equipped by Apple with a 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor model, 2 GB of DDR3 system memory, 160 GB hard drive storage capacity, no less than five USB 2.0 ports to connect different peripherals and computer gadgets to it, FireWire 800, the Nvidia GeForce 9400M graphics card with shared memory, and the SuperDrive optical drive for burning CDs and DVDs.

You also can go for the more expensive version, the $799 Mac mini computer, which comes with a 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4 GB memory, 320 GB hard drive capacity, while the $999 Mac mini configuration supports the Mac OS X Snow Leopard Server edition operating system from Apple. The $999 Mac mini packs two 500 GB hard drives to totalize no less than 1 TB storage capacity.

Having so many powerful features doesn’t sacrifice its size. Mac mini measures only 6.5 x 2 inches and meets the Energy Star 5.0 requirements, while having the EPEAT Gold status for energy efficiency.
Like the Intel Core 2 Duo-powered versions of the new iMac all-in-one computer, Mac mini is available at the Apple Store.
