AOL launched a new blog called JSYK, the short for Just So You Know. It is about the pop culture and targets “tweens and teens”, as AOL likes to day.
According to the press release, the new blog’s visitors are young people between 9 and 15 years old who like to stay up to date with celebrity news, videos, pictures, quizzes, polls and others.
At the same time, AOL launches The First National Tween Girl Summit 2009, which will be held on October 10 in Washington D. C..
Children and teens will have the chance to read about their favorite celebrities, see photo galleries, read exclusive interviews, find out about the upcoming movies, TV shows, music albums and books, as well as discover the latest teens fashion trends, and check the newest game trailers. In addition there will be gadgets reviews, politics, and online security. The blog also covers school-related subjects.
