Acer Launches 3 New Notebooks Optimised for Mobile Entertainment

Acer Aspire notebooks are among the most stylish models available on the market, especially those included in the famous Gemstone Blue series introduced last year by the 16-inch Aspire 6920 and the 18.4-inch Aspire 8920.
This special series is characterized by the Holographic 3D cover, blue backlight, the NeoWeape palm rest and the Acer CineDash touch-sensitive interface with navigation controls.

Acer introduced two new notebooks in the stylish line, with 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch display sizes, both enabling high performance and high-definition mobile entertainment at attractive prices.
Acer Aspire AS5536 and Acer Aspire AS7735Z come with Dolby surround sound technology, LED backlight, NVIDIA-powered graphics, multi-gesture touchpads supporting pinches, flicks and swirls, the Acer Backup Manager for scheduled backups, Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1, up to 4GB of system memory, and the Acer Crystal Eye web camera for video conferences.

In addition to these major features, the Acer Aspire AS7735Z model brings the PowerSave Key, which you can locate above the keyboard. It allows you to extend the battery operating time by activating advanced power-saving settings at the press of a button.

Elements specific to the 15.6-inch Acer Aspire AS5536 include a 2.1GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 QL-64 Dual-Core processor, ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics, 320GB SATA HDD, 8X DVD-Super Multi Double-Layer drive, Acer InviLink 802.11b/g/Draft-N Wi-Fi module, and a starting price of $479.99.

The 17.3-inch model starts at $599.99, which includes a 2GHz Intel Pentium T4200 processor, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD and 250GB SATA storage.

The third model introduced is the Acer Aspire AS5739G, a powerful notebook equipped with a 15.6-inch HD Acer CineCrystal LED-Backlit Display, the 2.1GHz Intel Core2 Duo T6500 processor, 4GB DDR3 1066MHz memory, anNVIDIA GeForce GT130M graphics card with 1GB memory, 250GB SATA HDD, an 8X DVD-Super Multi Double-Layer drive, Acer Bio-Protection fingerprint reader, Acer PowerSmart Tech/Key, Intel WiFi Link 5100 802.11 a/b/g/Draft-N module, and the multi-gesture touchpad.
It is available at a starting price of $749.99.
